Most S/4HANA programs don't fail on technology. They fail on the seams—where finance, plant and supply chain hand off to each other.

CTOs inherit estates where each value stream is run by a different team, a different partner and a different incentive. Closes drag. Promotions leak margin. Interfaces fail silently. Audits become fire-drills. The ERP is treated as a cost to contain rather than a lever to pull.
